We invite you to support the Lazarus Union Academy as an Academy Patron and become part of an exciting new beginning! The Academy is currently undergoing an exciting reorganisation process to further develop as an e-learning institute of the Lazarus Union. The Lazarus Union is an internationally active non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in Vienna with General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC). In 2017, the Lazarus Union was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. As a Patron, you will make a valuable contribution to realising our vision of creating life-changing educational opportunities and practice-oriented training.

The Lazarus Union Academy will develop a comprehensive e-learning programme as well as complementary face-to-face seminars and workshops on key topics aimed at different target groups. The planned training departments include:

  • Disaster Management and Emergency Preparedness: from crisis preparedness to emergency medical care to empower people in challenging situations.
  • Resilience and psychological preparedness: training to strengthen psychological resilience and techniques for dealing with stress and crises.
  • Language and communication skills: Language courses, intercultural communication and the promotion of dialogue across cultural boundaries.
  • Music & cultural education: Music lessons, music therapy and cultural workshops to promote creative and emotional development.
  • Internal training: training for efficiency and knowledge transfer within the organisation and training for our members and officials.

As an Academy Patron, you not only enable and support the development of a forward-looking educational institute, but also actively contribute to the education and empowerment of individuals and communities. You will help to disseminate expertise in key areas and prepare people around the world for the challenges of our time.
